Return Policy

We want you to love every piece you bring home from avanora. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Return Window You may request a return within 14 days of delivery. Returns initiated after this window cannot be accepted.

Eligible Items We accept returns only for items that arrive damaged or defective. Change-of-mind, incorrect size, or preference-based returns are not accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Have arrived damaged or defective
  • Be accompanied by an unboxing video clearly showing the sealed package being opened and the damage or defect visible upon unpacking — returns without an unboxing video cannot be accepted under any circumstances
  • Be unused and in its original packaging with all tags, inserts, and accessories intact

Non-Returnable Items The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items without a valid unboxing video as proof of damage
  • Sale, clearance, or discounted items marked "final sale"
  • Custom, personalised, or made-to-order pieces
  • Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or normal wear after delivery
  • Gift cards

Handcrafted note: Many of our pieces are handcrafted — small variations in colour, texture, and finish are part of their character and are not considered defects.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at mail@avanora.in within 14 days of delivery with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you'd like to return
    • A clear description of the damage or defect
    • Photos of the damage, including the packaging
    • Your unboxing video (attach or share a link — returns cannot be processed without this)
  2. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return address.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided.

Please do not ship returns without prior approval — unauthorised returns will not be processed.

Return Shipping Since returns are accepted only for damaged or defective items, we cover return shipping in full once your return is approved.

Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to reflect in your account.
  • If your return is rejected (e.g., no unboxing video provided, or item does not show a genuine defect), we'll contact you with our assessment and arrange to ship the item back to you. Return shipping in this case is at the customer's cost.

Exchanges We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a replacement for a damaged item, please mention this when initiating your return and we'll do our best to accommodate it based on stock availability. Alternatively:

  1. Initiate a return for the original item (per the steps above).
  2. Place a new order for the item you'd like.

Damaged or Defective Items If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item:

  • Email mail@avanora.in within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, clear photos of the damage (including the packaging), and your unboxing video.
  • We'll arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit — whichever you prefer — at no additional cost to you.

No unboxing video = no return. We strongly recommend filming your unboxing for every order, starting with the sealed package clearly in frame.

Cancellations Orders can be cancelled for a full refund up until they are shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, our standard return policy applies.
